Leadership Team
Dr. Erika Hunt and Andrew Hunt
Owner/Operators
Dr. Erika and Andrew Hunt envisioned a meticulously-designed, loving, educational, and flexible care environment when creating the vision for Scribbles Center For Learning, Inc. After much best practice research, personal experience, and professional guidance, Scribbles Center For Learning, Inc. opened to the community in January of 2008.
Prior to working in early education, Andy worked at State Farm Insurance in Bloomington. He studied both computer science and education and has a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University. Andy is a state-certified youth soccer coach and enjoys coaching youth soccer at a local soccer club in town.
Erika holds a Ph.D. in education administration and policy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, has a passion for children and her work entails research and advocacy for strengthening education. She currently works as a Project Director for the Regional Office of Education 17. She has previously worked at Illinois State University, for Governor Jim Edgar and for two state agencies.
Andy and Erika have two children and have enjoyed getting to know all of the parents and children who have become the Scribbles Family!
Miss Leanne
Director of Programming
Education:
Leanne graduated with Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN. She then received her Master degree in Education: Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier University in Chicago, IL.
She received her Level 2 Infant/Toddler Credential, Level 5 ECE Credential, Level 5 School Age Credential, and currently holds a Level 2 Director Credential.

Experience:
Prior to joining the Scribbles team, she worked at the Early Childhood Development Center at the University of Notre Dame as a lead preschool teacher and taught first grade at Lake Bluff Elementary School in Lake Bluff, IL.
Scribbles History:
Leanne joined Scribbles in 2008 as the Assistant Director shortly after Scribbles opened for business. She was instrumental in opening and managing many of the classrooms, as well as launching the School Age program. Now, as Director Leanne oversees the daily operations of the program, provides assistance to families, and works directly with teachers.
Miss Audriana
Director of School Age
Education:
Audriana attended Illinois State University where she graduated with a Degree in Human Development.
She received her ECE Level 4 Credential.
Experience:
Audriana previously worked with children ages 5-12 in a school age program before coming to Scribbles.
Scribbles History:
She joined Scribbles in 2013 as our School Age Site Supervisor, and is now the School Age Director, where she oversees staffing and family enrollment at both the onsite and off site Afterschool locations. Additionally, Audriana provides staff mentorship for new teachers.

Miss Allyson
Assistant Director of School Age
Education:
Allyson graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management.
She has earned a School Age Level 5 credential, ECE Level 3, Infant/Toddler Level 2 & Director Level 1

Scribbles History:
Allyson joined the Scribbles Team in 2012 as a School Age Lead Teacher. She is currently the School Age Assistant Director assisting children, staff, and families at both onsite and offsite programs, as well as staffing support for the center.
Miss Kensey
Assistant Director of Business Development
Education:
Kensey graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and a minor in business.
Scribbles History:
Kensey joined Scribbles in 2009 shortly after moving to the Bloomington area. She has been an assistant teacher in both Infant and Toddler rooms and a lead teacher in a Two’s classroom.
Kensey is currently the Assistant Director of Business Management overseeing the business and marketing departments as well as providing support to children and teachers in classrooms.
Miss Susie
Assistant Director of Child Development
Education:
Susie attended Eastern Illinois University and earned an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Heartland College. She is currently finishing her studies to receive a Bachelors Degree from ISU. She has earned her ECE Level 3 Credential as well.

Susie has been with Scribbles since 2009. She has been a preschool assistant teacher, lead teacher, and staff mentor.

Susie is currently the Assistant Director of Child Development, working with children in the center conducting assessments and providing families with community resources.
